To do the work we find in our bowl. Whatever we find there. Is it enough? Often it is not, and rightly so.

However be beyond the politics, the simple contention is: Can the meditator, just for a while attempt to accept what’s there, to let go of wanting and aversion, of greed and hatred? And when you disappear in the robe, your face cannot be recognised or registered as an undesirable. You cannot be captured. Meditation is political.

There is such a thing as freedom.
